ABOUT ATHENA

Growing up as a young child, I was angry and I never wanted to be home. Any opportunity I had to get out of the house or run away, I would take it. At the time, I didn’t know why I didn’t want to be there. All I knew is that I would rather sleep in an apartment laundry room then to spend any time at home. By the age of 15, I was a state ward and was living on the streets. To feed and support myself, I used to steal, rob, and sell drugs. At night, I would sleep at friends’ houses or in abandoned cars or apartments. I would wash myself in fast food restaurant bathrooms. When the crimes I committed caught up to me, the state decided to send me away to female correctional facility. To avoid detention, I joined a magazine crew and traveled to different states selling magazines door to door. I left the magazine crew when I found out I was pregnant and moved back to Nebraska to live in a group home for teen mothers.

I was lost and was searching for a sense of home.  Can you relate?

By the age of 17, I gave birth to my first child. I then later had three more children. While pregnant with my third child, I realized that the only way I was going to support my self and my children was to get a college degree. At the age of 25, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Management and Accounting. I had four kids at the time and had moved with my youngest child’s father to Minnesota to pursue a career in IT.

I was prepared to do whatever it took to pursue my dreams!

I lived with my youngest child’s father in Minnesota for a total of five years. My ex was addicted to crack cocaine and he was violent.  I was physically battered and emotionally abused on a regular basis. To support his habit, my ex would steal from me or from the kids. He had numerous sexual affairs outside of our relationship, including with a close friend. By the end of the fifth year in the relationship, I was living in a woman’s abuse shelter with the kids. The only way I was able to get out of the relationship was to leave the country. By the age of 29, I moved myself and my four kids to Vancouver, Canada.

By the time I moved to Vancouver, I felt shell shocked and traumatized. I didn’t want anyone (including my kids) to touch me or to be near me. As a result of the domination and manipulation experienced in my last relationship, I was completely out of touch with myself. I didn’t even know what my favorite food or color was. I had no identity, but I was excited at the thought of giving myself permission to find out who I really was and what I was here to do!

Are you in that same place right now?

During the five years I lived in Canada, I was on the path of metamorphosis and self discovery. I studied esoteric wisdom and I utilized numerous forms of alternative healing modalities to reconnect myself to my own true essence. I found the more I learned and healed within myself, the more I understood about the struggle of those around me. I began to see the insanity behind the mind programming that cripples an individual’s sovereignty and happiness.

I began to find my way back home to my true identity and the essence of my soul!

I always knew that my path in life was service and empowerment from the time I was a little girl.  Through out my entire life, I have spent countless hours sharing my wisdom and empowering individuals to work through their problems. All the pain I have experienced in life has meaning. Your pain has meaning too!

I walked the path of a wounded healer. I now know that I need to walk the walk so that I could talk the talk. I've learned that in order to transform at a soul level, you have to actually remove what is in the way of your desired change from happening. You have to deal with the blockage at source.  So, I've realized that years of sharing my wisdom and now blending it with my clairsentient and clairaudient abilities is the key to support you to celebrate your triumph story and find your way back home to your essence.

I found by working with guides and the Divine by providing readings of the Akashic records, real change and healing is actually possible. It is for this reason I have been healed. It is for this reason you will be healed as well.

The only question that remains is:  Are you really ready to heal your past so that you can reconnect with your true identity and experience the miraculous homecoming that awaits you?
